Indie team managing $172 million leaves Mid Atlantic Capital

Two-adviser team in Canton, Ohio affiliates with Ameriprise.

Jack Elgin and Neven Zelich, who managed $172 million as independents affiliated with Mid Atlantic Capital Corp., have joined the franchise channel of Ameriprise Financial. The team, based in Canton, Ohio, includes a paraplanner and two assistants. Mr. Elgin, who began his securities career at Merrill Lynch in 2000, joined UBS in 2004 and affiliated with Mid Atlantic in 2010. Mr. Zelich joined Merrill Lynch in 1990 and moved with Mr. Elgin to UBS in 2004 and to Mid Atlantic in 2010.
