Kim Garrison, who managed $185 million at Morgan Stanley in Springfield, Missouri, has joined the employee channel of Ameriprise Financial.

Garrison had been affiliated with Morgan Stanley and a predecessor firm since 2007.

Among the things she was looking for in a new firm was an inclusive culture, Garrison said in a statement. "“I am impressed by the great culture Ameriprise has for women advisers."

Her team includes client service associate Paula Schnoebelen, who is joining Ameriprise from Mission Square Retirement.
