RBC Wealth Management is strengthening its presence in the US as a two-decade veteran from Kestra joins the firm in Virginia.

On Thursday, the firm announced the addition of Julie-Anne Lewis, a former advisor with Kestra Private Wealth Services, to its Tysons, Virginia office. Joining her in the transition are senior client associates Kathleen Garrison and Yvonne Gough. Together, they oversee more than $330 million in assets under management.

Lewis, who now directs Middleburg Wealth Management at RBC Wealth Management, emphasized her commitment to client service in her move.

“I am excited to continue to offer our clients investment management, wealth planning, first class service and an overall client-centric approach,” the 23-year industry veteran said in a statement.

With a wide-ranging record that includes experience at LPL, Morgan Stanley, and Citi, she characterized the move as an opportunity to "enrich the client model we have come to pride ourselves on.”

According to Warren Bischoff, mid-Atlantic complex director, the move is a testament to RBC Wealth Management’s broader strategy to expand its advisor base with experienced professionals.

“We are continuing to attract the very best advisors to our firm,” said Bischoff. “Julie-Anne is an incredibly talented advisor who constantly strives to deliver top-tier service to her clients.”

Lewis's transition adds to the firm's ongoing efforts to grow its stable of talent in Virginia. In August, it welcomed a seasoned $346 million advisor with a 30-year professional record that includes stints at Citi and Merrill Lynch. Earlier in the summer was its June announcement of a nearly-billion dollar team, the Brown-Brinkley Group, coming on board after cutting their previous ties with Truist.

RBC Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, operates as one of the largest full-service wealth management firms in the US. With $619 billion in total client assets as of July 31, the firm supports more than 2,100 advisors across 191 offices in 42 states.
